How it works

1. Post a specific need or offer a skill or resource. Posting, responding, and connecting are free.
2. The administrator reviews submissions. Approved posts appear for 30 days unless removed sooner.
3. Contact the poster directly. Independently agree on the scope, timing, price, and payment before starting.
4. Save your private management code to request renewal or remove your post when the connection is made.

Community rules

• Be honest, respectful, and specific. Post only lawful needs and offers you have permission to share.
• No harassment, discrimination, scams, spam, impersonation, threats, or public accusations.
• No illegal goods or services, weapons, controlled substances, adult services, or requests for sensitive identity or financial information.
• Share only contact details you are authorized and comfortable to make public. Use a general location, not a home address.
• Check any licenses, insurance, qualifications, and legal requirements relevant to your arrangement.
• Use private reporting for concerns. The administrator may decline or remove a post that breaks these rules.

Stay alert to scams

Never pay an application fee or buy gift cards to unlock a job. Beware of overpayment checks and requests to return part of a payment. Never share passwords, verification codes, bank logins, or identity documents. Verify who you are dealing with, use a safe meeting place, and stop if something feels wrong.

About your agreement

The Local Post facilitates introductions. Members independently arrange the work, scope, price, and payment. The site does not process payments, hold money, verify every claim, or guarantee a transaction or outcome.
